Batangas Medical Center (BatMC) gained more recognition before the year ends

                 Batangas Medical Center’s Medical Center Chief II (MCC), Dr. Ramoncito C. Magnaye, together with the Chief of Medical Professional Staff II (CMPS), Dr. Maritess Teresita M. Torio attended the recently conducted Field Implementation and Coordination Team (FICT) – Luzon 2019 Data Validation, Performance Evaluation and Consultation last December 13 to 14, 2019 in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Bagac, Bataan. The two-day activity aims to ensure efficient data management, performance monitoring and financial accountability as well as the promotion of camaraderie among participants.

                Activities of the first day consisted mainly of presentation of the best practices of CHDs, Hospitals and TRCs. Dr. Torio presented the best practices of BatMC: Service Delivery Network - Practice-Based Residency Training Program of the Department of Family and Community Medicine.

                During the Socials night, BatMC received Plaques of Recognition for being one of the top Training and Teaching Hospital, for achieving the Gold trailblazer award from the Institute Solidarity in Asia and a special “Early Bird” award to recognize the BatMC in the immediate acknowledgment and report submission in the Third Quarter PBUR and Management Review. A Certificate of Recognition was also given to the institution to acknowledge the aforementioned practices as one of the best in Luzon. Other awards were also given during the event including the Service Appreciation Award for Dr. Maria Francia M. Laxamana for her passion and enthusiasm as leader of the DOH. Truly, BatMC has already come a long way being a tertiary DOH retained hospital in CaLaBaRZon this 2019 and aiming for better outcomes for 2020.
